Hey, lovelies! I cannot believe today is the last day of 2016! When did this all happen? It seemed as if it was just a few months ago we were spending a month in New York for almost all of December of 2015 and the beginning of January, 2016. Either way, the year went by very quickly.
This past year was a great year for my family and me. We celebrated a milestone birthday for Milt and traveled to Maui, Hawaii to do so. We took steps to put our family first during some really trying times. We learned the true meaning of certain things in which we were involved. I worked with some amazing brands this year, and I look forward to doing a lot more of that next year. I threw my first tea party and my second ugly sweater Christmas party. I had my eyes opened about several relationships and feel as if I grew a lot in that department. I changed majors in grad school, took 12 credits so far, and am in absolute love with the field. My son started high school and my hubby and I started training to work on the district-level of junior bible quizzing for the state of Florida. I read tons of books, made several YouTube videos, saw the vision of my dream bedroom almost completely remodeled, and became an Apple-only-products gal. There’s more, but I won’t bore you too much haha.
As far as resolutions go, I wanted to list just a few things I’d like to work on this year and beyond:
- I want to travel more – not just this year…I just want to travel more.
- I want to have a certain elective (but somewhat necessary) surgery (message me if you’d like to know what it is).
- I want to learn more photography skills.
- I want to learn how to sew.
- I want to expand my blog’s resume by collaborating with a lot more brands – so hire me 🙂
- I want to further develop some ‘true’ friendships in my life.
- I want to spend less and save more.
How about you? What are some things you want to accomplish this coming year? I’d love to hear about it below.
Hugs and Happy New Year,
P.S. I juuuuust bought this sweater from Macy’s and already it’s sold out, so I linked similar ones above. It was on sale and then I used a coupon for an extra coupon and received free shipping. It was a great deal and it is so comfy and soft. The skirt was custom made by Normony Design and the shoes are Coach from Nordstrom Rack.
