dsc_1299-01 dsc_1300-01 dsc_1314-01 dsc_1321-01Happy Friday, everyone! So I have to admit that I am so excited for this little tea party I’m having tomorrow. I almost can’t take it haha.

These pics are from yesterday. We all went for a drive to Port Orange while Milt took care of work business. On the way back, we picked up some for items for the take-away gifts for my guests. I can’t say what they are in case you are attending. I don’t want you to know lol.

I linked some items in the slideshow above that are similar. There are some peep-toe booties in the line up that are less than $20. We all know Florida doesn’t ever truly experience Autumn, so I add a few things to my wardrobe that will give this northern girl the feel of the seasons changing. With that said, during these times, you’ll see me in booties and light jackets/vests just pretending 🙂 The peplum top is sleeveless and is from my collaboration with Macy’s Backstage. I cannot wait to go back to New York to shop there or until they open one closer to me.

Also above are some of the pieces we’ll use at the tea party. Our local Habitat for Humanity ReStore was moving from the next town over into our town and they had a bone china set they were selling. The retail price was over $1200, but after marking it down quite a bit and employing mad negotiating skills haha, we paid $65!!! It’s service for 12, but there are a TON of extra pieces.

The red topiary is from Pier 1. As I wrote earlier this week, I always decorate for the seasons/holidays, but I love to buy things slightly after the season to save some money. I think this one was about $5. The sugar bowl is from Marshall’s. I have several of those pieces too. If you can’t tell by now, I love variety in my dining sets 🙂

Today I’m going to go finish last-minute shopping and preparing. I was dusting yesterday and had to wear a mask. Any kind of dust or anything like that gets my allergies up in flares.

Well, what are you doing today?
