Completed! My Sister’s Kitchen

Okay, everyone, put on your seat belts because you are about to be blown away. These pictures are not edited at all. I’m going to list the before picture(s) of a certain part of the kitchen and then the after photos of the same area. First, here is a look at the kitchen:DSC_0117Area I – before – This is where the fridge used to be. It was in a really odd location. There had once been a half wall overlooking the dining room that had an ugly yellow railing in the way. I shudder just remembering it haha.DSC_0116DSC_0115DSC_0032DSC_0119Area I – After – In place of the fridge, cabinets were ordered for seating with an upholstered bench. In-kitchen eating was important to them, so a base was built and the cabinet company made a table out of the same quartz used for the countertops. The legs of the table were stained and a chandelier was installed above the table. Wainscotting was installed and the color above the wall is a pale grayish-blue. Eventually, this painted area will display the kids’ artwork. The fridge also now has its own cabinet. See below.
DSC_0950 DSC_0951DSC_0943DSC_0942DSC_0959 DSC_0960Area II – the island and the left side of the window. The island was so out of place in the kitchen. The appliances needed to be updated and the flooring was atrocious. All the way at the end of the counter, there is a door. We turned that door into a blackboard, which also serves as a secret entrance to their pantry.
DSC_0118DSC_0117DSC_0114DSC_0897 Area II – after – Here is the secret pantry door that opens when you push on it. Also, I can sew, but this is my first time sewing a curtain. My mom started it and after I realized I gave her the wrong orientation, I had to redo some parts of it. DSC_0934DSC_0936 DSC_0935DSC_0939 DSC_0938 DSC_0937 Area III – before – the right side of the window. Again, all the appliances were out of place. The double oven took up too much space.
DSC_0113Area III – after – the backsplash picks up a lot of the design in the kitchen. The faucet is Kohler, the dishwasher is Bosch, the range is Wolf by Subzero, the microwave and fridge are Samsung.DSC_0946 DSC_0948 DSC_0957 DSC_0961 DSC_0962 DSC_0963DSC_0949 DSC_0968 DSC_0969 DSC_0970Here are some other details of the kitchen:
