Happy Monday, everyone! Remember how I told you we were celebrating Milton’s birthday on Thursday? Well, we’re kind of turning this entire month into a party for him. I think he deserves it.
This time of the year is normally very busy for us. We’ve had a few changes in our schedule, but we’re still swamped with…life. We decided to spend the day in Orlando on Thursday, which was his actual birthday, just because we wanted to keep the weekend free. The real birthday plans begin when we are in Hawaii in a few weeks.
Before we could get the day started, we found that cute little turtle trying to cross the road. So cute.
We went to Universal CityWalk and bought our dinner and miniature golf tickets. Have you ever been there? They have packages you can buy, but you don’t have to use them on the same trip. It’s so much fun. I had gone there a few months ago with some friends and knew I wanted to go back with my boys.
I secretly hate mini golf. Okay, I used to hate it, but now I can tolerate it. I actually love doing anything as long as I have my favorite guy with me.
Of course Milton won the first game. We went to eat dinner, and then we played the other round of eighteen. He won that round as well, but we each had a hole-in-one.
Dessert was ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery. I usually get the Birthday Cake Remix. So yummy. Which flavor is your favorite?
