Omg. I almost had a coronary yesterday. We planned our entire trip to New York to be back in time for the first part of my son’s annual testing. Seems simple enough, no? It wasn’t.
As I was sitting in my sister’s house, I received a Google calendar notification that his test was two days earlier than I had thought. I was so confused and shocked. I immediately knew the two of us would have to jump on a plane on Wednesday.
I looked at the original email and just knew that the test was on Friday. It was a very confusing email, but I thought I had it figured out.
I felt better…until I received a message from the principal saying that his test scheduled for Wednesday had to be postponed for at forty-eight hours. It was actually two days earlier than I’d thought, but wow! What a relief!
Anyway, needless to say, well be home in time for the testing. Anything like this ever happen to you?
Have a great day,
P.S. the first picture is what I snapped as we were driving over the George Washington Bridge, leaving New Jersey and heading into New York.
