Valentine’s Day Outfit Inspo 2 and the Coldest Day Ever!

DSC_0042I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE monochromatic looks with pops of color. For Valentine’s Day this year, I will be wearing one of the outfits that I posted on here. You can find the other look here.
DSC_0041 DSC_0040I bought this shirt from Kohl’s sometime last year and this clutch was a free gift with purchase from Macy’s. The skirt is one of the favorite pieces I’m wearing. I purchased it from Vintage Lady Belles, an Instagram clothing boutique selling used and new vintage clothing. This is my kind of thrifting lol. I like to thrift from the comfort of my home.DSC_0039 DSC_0037I love the detailed shot in these pictures. My son takes most of my photos. I just upgraded to an auto-focus lens, but before, he did all the manual focusing with the other lens. I love when the intricate details are captured.DSC_0051 DSC_0045 DSC_0043I took this outfit with two different kinds and color handbags. One is a clutch that has a hand/shoulder strap and doubles as a large wallet with several compartments in it. The other is also a clutch that has either a shoulder strap or a hand strap. One is more neutral, while the other gives a pop of color.DSC_0060 DSC_0058DSC_0056I know you’re probably wondering why I’m wearing a fur coat in Florida. I’m actually wondering why I didn’t turn down the color until after we took the first set of pictures.

It was COLD on Sunday! It was so cold that when I arrived at church, I had to go back home to get the coat. I didn’t realize how cold and windy it was.

This is a raccoon fur coat. It was a gift from the hubs, and the first time I saw it, I was afraid to touch it lol. Okay, to be honest, it wasn’t just the first time.DSC_0062DSC_0054DSC_0061Shop the look here!

DSC_0053We’ll be having a few friends over for dinner on Friday night, and then Milt and I will celebrate over the weekend.

As I’m typing this, I am doing something I’ve never done before. I’m pinning on Pinterest! Me! Pinning. I don’t normally do that. I decided that I would start because I’m doing all the cooking for the dinner party and I am so excited about it that I’m exploring other recipes and ideas that weren’t on the list.

It’s kind of getting out of hand lol because I have found so many great recipes for chicken and the hot chocolate bar for our guests. I’m finding that Pinterest has a way to make even me want to cook, and I do NOT like to cook. I used to like cooking, so maybe I can get back to that place again.

What are you wearing for Valentine’s Day? What are you doing for Valentine’s Day? If you’d like to check out what I’m pinning, please visit my Pinterest page here. If you have any suggestions for me, please comment below. After not cooking for several years, I’ll need all the help I can get. Hehe!
