My sister and brother-in-law’s house is literally built on a rock. When they first told me, I was a bit incredulous until I saw the thing.
When you look a the house from the street, it is high up and set back from the street. To even get to the front door, you need to climb about three sets of stairs. The rock, upon which the house is built, is visible even in the basement. Again, it’s truly something to see.
This skirt I’m wearing is one that I purchased from a lady on Instagram. She sells new and gently used clothing. It wasn’t long enough for me so I wore a black skirt underneath it. It’s funny how I would reject all sorts of clothing because they either were too short, low, etc. I’m so glad that I learned how to layer my clothes with other clothes to make the whole outfit more modest.
On a more serious note, tonight and tomorrow morning, many of my family members will be traveling up to New York to attend a funeral. The funeral is for my twenty-0ne year old cousin. He was in a fatal car accident last week Saturday. I think I might still be numb because I haven’t actually reacted to the sudden tragedy. Twice over the past few days, however, I just felt as though I would break down and cry.
I have also had quite a few people ask me about the books I’ve been reading. In the next few days, I’ll be posting the first book in a series of books I’ve been reading. You’ll not want to miss it. Do you like to read?
Thanks for stopping by!
