Though my favorite season is fall, it doesn’t get quite cool enough in Florida during that time of year to support wearing all of the fall fashion trends that abound. One way I get away with this is adding pieces of faux fur.
I love this vest. I bought it at Ross last year, and I wore it…a lot. I liked it enough that I was on the hunt to add more faux fur pieces to my wardrobe. I found a white one at Kohl’s and a black one at Ross.
I paired this look with my leopard booties that I got for free at Macy’s during their BOGO sale a few months ago. Also, I wore my favorite bag, my Hermes Kelly.
What’s interesting is that someone attacked me a few weeks ago demanding to know how much I paid for “this” bag. The nerve lol. I don’t understand why the concern about the price of my bag. This person went on to ask me whether or not I had as much money in the bank to match the cost of this bag. Isn’t that just crazy? As I told this individual, this one was a gift, as many of my bags are, and I don’t need to justify anything in my closet with anyone.
I moved from NY and I still have the same taste for the same things. Moving to a state where the cost of living is cheaper doesn’t make me feel as if I don’t need to be fancy, and it doesn’t make me feel as if I need to be over the top either. I am, after all, the Girl from NYC, aren’t I? Being extravagant is in my blood. Just kidding, but I do like nice bags, shoes, and accessories…no matter where I live or who my friends are. I refuse to let anyone accuse me of being materialistic, because we all have a “thing” we love. I only want to be true to myself and not try to put on a show for anyone. I like what I like and I only express in my outfits, the looks I truly love.
Well, I spent the day working on remodeling my sister’s house. I did a lot of shopping for some of the rooms we’re putting together. I’ll write a post about her remodeling projects soon.
Have a great weekend and thanks for reading!
