Coral, Flowers, and What I’m Reading

DSC_0009DSC_0008DSC_0024 DSC_0023 DSC_0018 DSC_0017DSC_0022DSC_0003DSC_0020DSC_0011Something that has bothered me since forever and a day is people being bullied and intimidated. I think it goes back to when I was in junior high school.  There were two girls that were just awful to so many other students. One of them was worse than the other, but they were just plain horrible.

I’m seeing this again. The problem is that the people that are being bullied are the ones doing the right thing. That is the part that bothers me the most. Why do people ostracize the ones that are on the right path and stand behind the bullies? And why do parents turn a blind eye to what’s in front of them? My prayer is that my husband and I never take our roles as parents so lightly that we allow our son free reign to terrorize other people.

This is one of the reasons why I blog. I have always written down my thoughts. I had a diary when I was younger, and writing has always been one of the things I like best. When I receive an assignment to write a paper, I usually can write 12-15 pages in one or two days. Writing has always been a great outlet for me to express my feelings. Blogging has taken my love of writing and allowed me to write about the other areas that interest me.

Another favorite pastime for me is reading. The book I’m reading now is The White Queen (The Cousins’ War)I linked to Amazon, but I ordered mine from eBay. I love the look and feel of books, but for lack of space and not keeping Milton awake at night with the bedroom light, I download many books through my Kindle app. The only time I usually order a book is if it’s cheaper to buy it than to download it. I’d love it if you want to read along with me. When I’m finished, I can post some discussion questions, but that won’t be until sometime in August. I can’t wait to hear from you!

What are some things that interest you?
