Though I have several new accessories, the cutest one is (Princess) Molly, whom I was toting around in my bag. Don’t think for a minute that she was in agreement. She didn’t really want to go in it, and when I tried to put down the bag to take a picture of her in it, she tried to jump out. Silly dog haha. She’ll just have to get used to it the way she got used to going in her little crate for house-breaking reasons.
I can’t really choose a favorite piece from this outfit. I have been so in love with stripes and polka dots lately. I love the look of black, white, and pops of red. This sleeveless peplum has ruffled sleeves, but since I wore the cover-up, you can’t see them. As modesty is always at the forefront of my mind, I’ll take pictures at a later date with the peplum being worn over a blouse to show the ruffles.
I will be spending the weekend getting my son ready to go to church camp. While he’s gone, I’ll be working on some courses that I purchased on Groupon. As soon as he gets back, it’ll be crunch time. He has his bible quizzing state finals at the ending of June. We will most likely be quoting…all…422…verses each day after he gets back and having quiz practice for several hours each day.
After hearing a message from an evangelist that preached at our church on Sunday, I feel renewed about certain things. He preached about continuing to sacrifice time, talent, and treasure to the Lord because if we stop doing that, it will be the beginning of the desolation of our ‘temples.’ It was such a powerful message. I will do whatever I can to help my son realize the same thing. He has said that he wants to bible quiz until he’s too old to quiz, and when he’s reached that point, he wants to stay involved with bible quizzing. I hope that my hubby and I can always continue to sacrifice and also teach our son to do the same.
