The New Black…

Well, according to my recent Instagram post, purple, aqua, and black are the new black. Haha! I’m just teasing. I absolutely loved wearing this outfit. As I was looking at the pictures, I realize that it looks as if I’m wearing a dress. Talk about versatility in your clothing! I had so many people asking me where I got my top. If you’d like to know, please leave a comment, or send me an email. The crochet-lace on it is everything.

I decided to wear it with this purple pencil skirt to really accentuate the details in it. I had thought about wearing a white, lace skirt, but that wouldn’t have done justice to the shirt. To finish off this look, I wore my newest cross-body. It was a gift from Milton that he brought back from his trip to NY. No one really understands the magnitude of this gift. The gift itself wasn’t all that uncommon. He does things like this all the time, but it was the way in which he bought/brought it. He drove to and from NY all by himself. It takes roughly 17 hours each way. The absolutely surprising part of him bringing this home is that he stopped in North Carolina and bought it. Did you miss that? He stopped!!! He doesn’t stop for any other reason besides gas, food, and bathroom breaks when he’s traveling…or if I want to go take pictures or shop haha. He actually stopped for almost two hours, and tried to find the perfect gift for me. He’s such a sweetheart. He also bought two basketballs for Milty. One for inside and one for outside.

Church was amazing on Sunday. I didn’t go home and sleep even though I was so exhausted from getting ready for the bible quizzing tournament and getting up a bit earlier to frost and decorate cupcakes. I hope you all have a blessed week!
